Regional Returning Officer for the North West

I am the Chief Executive and Local Returning Officer of Manchester City Council and have been appointed as the Regional Returning Officer for the North West Region.

The European Parliament

Elections are held in electoral regions. There are twelve electoral regions in the United Kingdom. The elections for the North West Region will be carried out in the 39 local authorities in the Region by the Local Returning Officers in each area.

As Regional Returning Officer, I am responsible for certain key events in the election, such as the Notice of Election, receiving nominations from parties and individuals and declaring the result.
