| 19 May 2009 | Final date for receipt of applications to register to vote for the European Parliamentary Elections Final date to apply for a postal vote for the European Parliamentary Elections |
| By 27 May 2009 | Postal votes delivered to all postal voters in the North West |
| 28 May 2009 | Last day to notify the appointment of Sub Agents, Counting agents and Polling Agents |
